If you are working in demo mode on a laptop, we will use the second screen to display the monitoring, which we will configure to display all our outputs.

If you have access to a real Modulo Player server, you can use its 4 outputs to fully simulate the live event.

Note that this requires at least 3 video projectors and 1 monitor. If you only have access to 2 video projectors, the reminder screen can be replaced by a monitor.

Demo mode on a laptop

Connect an external monitor to the HDMI or DP output of the graphics card. This screen will be used to display the monitoring.

Make sure your Display Mode is set to Fullscreen second screen

You can now start the Modulo Player.

With a Modulo Player server

The order of the connectors on the graphics card is from top to bottom.

  • Connect the 2 video projectors for the cyclo screen to connectors 1 and 2 of the graphics card.
  • Connect the reminder video projector to connector 3 of the graphics card and connect that to a 1 > 2 splitter to feed two projectors if you have the necessary equipment.
  • Connect the speaker feedback to connector 4 of the graphics card.

We will now force EDIDS and create an extended desktop.

In the Control tab, open the Settings menu.

In the AMD/EDID subtab, select the first 4 outputs and choose the 1920×1080@50P EDID from the list and click on Force EDID.

The outputs of the graphics card will flash several times and finally a message on the remote indicates that the operation succeeded.

In the AMD/Eyefinity subtab select the first 4 outputs and click on Create Eyefinity.

Choose an arrangement of 4 horizontal screens (Cols:4 ; Rows:1).

The outputs of the graphics card will flash several times and finally a message on the remote indicates that the operation succeeded.

Make sure your Display Mode is set to Fullscreen primary screen.

The graphics card is now configured as an extended desktop and when Modulo Player is launched, the application will display fullscreen on all 4 screens simultaneously.

You can now start the Modulo Player server.
