Setup of EDID et Eyefinity

We will now force the 4 outputs with an EDID and do eyefinity to have an desktop extended over 4 screens.

Disable monitoring (or possibly NDI stream)

Display a test pattern on all outputs to check that everything is working correctly.

Working with a Modulo V-Node

Connect the devices to the right connector on the graphics card (order from top to bottom)

Connector

1. Video projectors 1 for the cyclo left side
2. Video projectors 2 for the cyclo right side
3. Reminder projector
4. The speaker feedback
   

Force EDID

We will now force EDIDS and create an extended desktop with 4 screens:
In the menu, go to V-Node > Remote Settings.

Control/Settings/AMD/EDID select the first 4 outputs and choose an EDID 1920×1080@50P from the list and click on Force EDID.

*The outputs of the graphics card could flash several times and finally a message indicates on the remote that the operation is performed.

Create Eyefinity

Control/Settings/AMD/Eyefinity: select the first 4 outputs and click on create Eyefinity. We choose an arrangement of 4 horizontal screens ( Cols:4 Rows:1).

Go back to the Control tab and Start V-Node.
The server indicator light should turn from red to orange, that means it is ready.
Note the IP address of the V-Node for the next step.

Add and set the V-Node on Kinetic Designer

• Add a V-Node
• Define its IP Address
• Click on the V-Node, in the Editor Tab and indicate the size of our V-Node’s EYEFINITY which is 7680×1080

*The V-Node is well declared, however it is not yet ready to display content. Indeed, the V-Node needs a Render Surface affected first. Follow the next steps.
