Media and Test Patterns

Adding media

• In the Media list tab, create the folders and subfolders as they are in the project folder.
• Click on the + and import the media into each folder and subfolders.

*It is not mandatory to reproduce the same tree view in Kinetic Designer and in the project folder, but it is a good habit to keep them identical to keep a clear view of your project.

Creating Test Patterns

We need to create 3 Test Pattern media, one for each surface.

• In the Media tab, click on + and select Pattern.
• Create one for the 2 soft edge blended projectors (VP1, VP2) of 3840-384 = 3456×1080 pixels
• Create one for the reminder projector (VP3) of 1920×1080 pixels
• Create one for the speaker screen of 1920×1080 pixels

!If you are using a real V-Node machine : you will need to toggle the concerned V-Node(s) to Online to be able to add a V-Node, a Render Surface, an Output, or media.
