Now that we have our 3D scene set up, we’ll cover how we can play content directly on the 3D objects.
Drag & drop the Pattern 1 – Color + Grid on the timeline.
In the Preview
panel, we can check that it displays properly on our Render Surface.
In the 3D Scenes
panel, Material tab, select the Castle Texture material.
Drag & Drop the Render Surface in the Color field of the material.
In the 3D Viewer
panel, revert any Study mode applied on the view port back to Standard.
Although the Unlit Material is unaffected by lighting, the base color setting is still multiplied by the texture map (in this case, the Render Surface) before displaying.
Set the RGB values of the Castle Texture material to full white (255, 255, 255).
Notice how the display of the texture reacts in the 3D Viewer
panel when the values are changed.
In the Hierarchy tab select both projectors and remove the Softedge pattern.
Optionally, you may also enter the viewport’s settings and set a solid black color for the background and remove the display of the grid.
