The first part of the exercise will start the project from an empty show.
We will review the following notions:
- Configuring the V-Node server for multi-display
- Setting up Kinetic Designer in a multi-display environment
- Using Guides in the Preview panel
- Animating layer ‘advanced’ properties in the timeline
- Using tasks for showcontrol automation
Demo vs Server
In the certification course, this tutorial is designed to be programmed on Kinetic Designer and then to be pushed to a V-Node server properly configured and displaying on 2 video-projectors and two monitors. One monitor simulates the two reminder projections, and the other simulates the confidence screen.
If you have access to a V-Node server, you can experience the full extent of this tutorial by connecting your Kinetic Designer to it and using all four of its outputs.
If you are running the demo version on your own laptop and do not have access to a V-Node server, you will only be able to see one output at a time and this output will display flashes of colors. This is normal and due to the demo version.
