Presets can be used to quickly recall pre-configured layouts of your Mix Engines in your destinations.
Creating a preset
In the Live Mixer open the Presets
tab and click the to add a preset.
Set the Transition to 3 seconds.
Set three sources into the different destinations. For the main screen, set the Mix Engine containing your source to be on the left part of the screen.
Click on the Overwrite from PVW
button to capture the Preview’s current configuration into the preset.
Use the TAKE
button to send the Preview to Program.
Copy the layout from the PGM to the PVW and change the sources in the Mix Engines.
In the Main Screen, change the position for the PiP in the Mix Engine
With that Mix Engine selected, set the Flying time to 3 seconds.
Open the BCS tab, tick Enable and modify the properties.
Add another Preset which will automatically capture your PVW.
Use the TAKE
action to notice the flying of the PiP from the left part of the screen to the right part.
Recalling tasks
In the bottom bar, there is a Task dropdown menu which enables you to launch a task when sending the Preview to the Program with the CUT/TAKE commands.
The task can also be set in the Presets to be automatically launched alongside the Preset.
