Home page

When opening Kinetic Designer, the Home page will open.

If no action from the user is recorded in 10 seconds, the previous show will automatically open.

You can access the Home page at any time through the File top menu.

Quick Access

The section on the left gives quick access to the following functions:

Home

On the home page, you can create a new project, recall the last opened project or load another project by selecting the .mop file through the file explorer.

The Slave Sync button will toggle the server into slave mode and will prompt you to enter the IP address of the master Kinetic Designer.

The show and content on the Slave will be automatically synchronized to the one on the Master Designer.

If no action from the user is recorded in 10 seconds, the previous show will automatically open.

Recent projects

This page gives a quick access to recent projects to load.

When launching Modulo Kinetic for the first time, this page is empty.

Favorites

This page gives access to the projects that are listed as favorites.

To save a project in the Favorites list, open the project and go to Project > Project Settings > Description > Add to favorites.

You can also write a description of your project, add some tags and a thumbnail from a capture area (Preview, Timeline, Graph, UI Designer or 3D viewer).

Sample

This page enables you to recall a sample demo project.

When opening this page for the first time, it is recommended to click on the Refresh Sample list button to download the latest sample list.

To load a sample project, click on the Download button on the project you would like to load.

Once the download is complete, you can access the Install & Load button which will open the File Explorer to create a Project Folder for the sample you are about to open.
