Using the media for the Shapes add the following content to the timeline:
STEP | TRIGGER | FILENAME | PLAY MODE |
---|---|---|---|
1 | - | Black | Once |
2 | Pause | Credit + Audio | Once |
3 | Pause | Jingle 1 + Audio | Once |
4 | Following | Loop 1 | Loop |
5 | Pause | Jingle 2 + Audio | Once |
6 | Following | Loop 2 | Loop |
7 | Pause | Jingle 3 + Audio | Once |
8 | Following | Nebula Loop | Loop |
All media have Fade In/Out durations of 2 seconds.
Second timeline
We will create separate timelines in order to play content for the Shapes and the Background independently.
In the Timelines List
panel, copy & paste the first Timeline.
Rename Timeline 1 to Background and Timeline 2 to Shapes.
Remove from each Timeline the content no longer required.
Linking timelines
Timelines can be linked to each other so they play simultaneously when a command is sent to play one of them.
In the Timelines List
panel, select the Background timeline, open the Link
tab in the Editor
panel and check the Time circle in the Shapes timeline row.
With this link, the Shapes timeline will follow the play/pause commands sent to the Background timeline, but not the other way around.
Select the Shapes timeline and set the same Time link for the Background timeline.
The timelines are now both linked and will always play together, but having two timelines gives the operator additional control as they can be faded in/out independently if required.
