XR principle
XR, meaning eXtended Reality, is a technology that mixes real camera feed with Background Replacement, Augmented Reality and Virtual Reality.
For that purpose, we get a camera live feed, camera zoom-shift informations in real-time, and a green screen.
After a calibration we have a 3D Camera that moves the same way as the real camera.
In order to inject 3D content over the camera live feed, we shoot in front of a green screen and replace the green color by 3D content.
All of this process is fully included into Kinetic Designer, so in this tutorial we will see how to setup a full XR studio including a Modulo Kinetic Designer, a green screen, and a camera calibration.
