Stream Deck installation
Go to the Elgato website to download the Stream Deck application.
Download the Modulo Stream Deck plugin
Unified plugin for all Modulo Pi applications supporting Stream Deck, compatible MAC and PC.
At the end of the installation, you will be prompted to install the profile: Choose Yes to install the profile.
Then, you can select the Modulo Pi profile and use it.
If the profile is not installed, go to “More action”, scroll to find the Modulo Pi Stream Deck plugin and re-install the profile.
In Kinetic Designer
Open Modulo Kinetic and in the Edit top menu click on Stream Deck.
The first tab lists all available Stream Deck pads connected to your computer or an available computer on the network.
In the second tab you can create user interface templates.
It is not necessary to be connected to a Stream Deck to create a template.
Templates can be reused or shared between projects.
Click on the button to create a new template.
Choose a name of the template and input the number of columns and rows you have on your Stream Deck.
With the template selected, drag&drop an action from the list of actions on the right onto a button of the template.
The following actions are available:
Mixer
- Cut
- Take
- Recall preset to PGM
- Recall preset to PVW
- Enable/disable destination
- Freeze/unfreeze source
- Recall preset to PGM (auto-filling)
- Recall preset to PVW (auto-filling)
- Enable/disable destination (auto-filling)
- Freeze/unfreeze source (auto-filling)
Show control
- Launch task
- Launch task (auto-filling)
Interface
- Go to page
Timeline
- Play/pause
- On/Off
If you select an action with auto-filling, the following window will pop-up:
Two options are available for line-wrapping:
Option 1 | Option 2 |

When reaching a new line start from the first column |
When reaching a new line start from the same column of the initial button |
You can also select the start index for the action:
For example if you select the Launch Task (auto-filling) and enter a start index of 10, the first button will be Launch Task 10, the next one Launch Task 11, etc.
