Timeline

Add the following content to the Timeline:

All media have Fade In/Out durations of 2 seconds.

Try to interpret this cue list directly to create the timeline. If you need help, the steps are detailed below.

Detailed instructions

From the Media list drag & drop the three patterns into the Timeline and position them as such :

  • Pattern Main Screen x=0
  • Pattern Reminder Screens x=3840
  • Pattern Confidence Monitor x= 5760

Add a 2 second fade in and fade out on these three layers.

You may view the animation on the opacity by playing the timeline.

Blue Loop & Logo

Position the timeline locator at timecode 00:00:12:00.

Add the media Blue loop and set it to Loop and Freerun.

At timecode 00:00:16:00 add the Modulo logo

Scale it down to 20% and adjust it’s position.

Add a 2 seconds fade-in/out to both the loop and the logo.

Jingles & Reveal

At timecode 00:00:20:00 add Jingle 1 with its audio track and a fade-in of 2 seconds on both.

Trim the audio layer to end at the same time as the Jingle. (Keyboard shortcut ALT + E)

At the Out point of Jingle 1 add the media Jingle1_Loop without any fade.

Set this layer to Loop and Freerun.

Repeat these steps with the two other Jingles and Jingle loops.

The proper timecodes can be found in the cue list above or interpreted directly from the timeline as you build it.

Don’t forget to add the soundtracks with each Jingle and trim the corresponding layers as well.

At timecode 00:01:48:00 add the Reveal video and its audio layer.

Commands

Now we’ll add the pause commands in order to create our cues.

Create a Command layer on the timeline

Add a Pause command at the beginning of the following layers :

  • Blue Loop
  • Logo
  • Jingle 1
  • Jingle 2
  • Jingle 3
  • Reveal

We now have a pretty tidy first Timeline. It can still be improved, for instance, by making the jingle soundtracks last a little longer and adding a fade out to them.
