Tracking camera editor is composed of 3 tabs:
- General
- Masks
- Advanced
General
- FPS [frames per second] (30,60,90,120,150,180,200,240)
Determines how often a camera will acquire a new image. - default H. FOV [degrees] (Auto,38,42,46,51,56,58,70,82)
Default horizontal field of view which depends on the installed camera optics. This value is used as a starting point for camera calibration with “Auto” as the default value. However, to ensure good calibration results, the right value may be defined before calibration. - Exposure [ms] (10-6500)
Defines camera exposure. - Threshold (0-255)
Defines the threshold for object detection. In order for a blob to be considered as an object, its image intensity must be greater than threshold. - Led intensity (0-15)
Only available for cameras equipped with LED circles such as Prime 13 or Prime 41. This parameter defines its intensity. This parameter is especially used for the detection of passive reflective markers. - Gain (1:ShortRange – 8:HighRange)
Defines camera gain. This parameter should be increased when working at a higher distance from the camera. - Filter switch (Visible spectrum, Infrared spectrum)
Defines whether the camera works in the visible or infrared spectrum. - Video type
Defines camera video type:
Object mode tracking default mode for tracking Precision mode tracking enhanced tracking mode, not recommended for setups with a big number of cameras MJPEG mode reference capturing of the MJPEG-compressed frames, used only for monitoring RAW grayscale reference capturing of the full uncompressed frames
- Digit value (0-99)
The value displayed on the front panel of the camera (if it is equipped with one) - Back LED (on,off)
Allows to switch on/off the status LED located on the back of the camera
Masks
Masking is used to reduce noise in camera images. It is applicable only in infrared modes. Due to reflections or the interference of various light sources images may contain unwanted white zones that can be considered as markers. Using masks allows to avoid it.
Within this tab you may create rectangular masks that are defined by four parameters:
- x [in pixels]: left position of mask rectangle
- y [in pixels]: top position of mask rectangle
- width [in pixels]: mask width
- height [in pixels]: mask height
By clicking on button you can activate/deactivate the given mask.
Advanced
This tab resumes different calibration parameters.
