Camera AR stype is device allowing communication with a camera that streams tracking information using stype protocol.
General tab
Find pose | allows to find camera pose (position + orientation) in the world frame that typically corresponds to the origin of the 3D scene. If the camera is mount on a moving trackable device (such as ActivePuck), it is possible to find the camera pose in relation to a node in the 3D scene. To do this, you should drag&drop the node in the corresponding field. The pose of the camera is often referred to as ground transform |
---|---|
Use ground transform | allows to activate/deactivate the transformation found using Find pose button |
Position and rotation parameters | displays current pose of the camera. In the same time, by clicking on the corresponding parameter you can activate or deactivate it. If the parameter is off the device will not update this value in the 3D cameras/projectors associated with this device |
3D Camera | allows to associate the device with a camera from 3D scene. In this way, the motion of the real camera will correspond to the motion of the camera in 3D scene. You can add as much cameras as you want. As soon as you drag&drop a camera in the given field, a new one (empty) will appear |
Lens tab
Horizontal FOV | horizontal field of view in degrees |
---|---|
Aspect | ratio, the ratio between image width and height |
Horizontal shift | horizontal shift of the lens center (percentage of image width) |
Vertical shift | vertical shift of the lens center (percentage of image height) |
Distortion, k1 | distortion parameter proportional to the distance from lens center (r^2) |
Distortion, k2 | distortion parameter proportional to the squared distance from lens center (r^4) |
stype tab
Port | communication port defined in the parameters of the camera |
---|---|
Tracking delay, ms | In gerenal the is a small desynchronization between the image and tracking information. This parameter allows to compensate it by delaying the stype data |
Pan | value of pan in degrees received by stype protocol |
Tilt | value of tilt in degrees received by stype protocol |
Roll | value of roll in degrees received by stype protocol |
X | camera x position in meters received by stype protocol |
Y | camera y position in meters received by stype protocol |
Z | camera z position in meters received by stype protocol |
Zoom | camera zoom received by stype protocol (typically in a range from 0 to 1) |
Focus | camera focus received by stype protocol (typically in a range from 0 to 1) |
