Launching content from Timeline is possible but can be tough is you have many Timelines and different content.
You could, as well, need to launch two different Timelines at the same time.
This could not be possible to do it manually without using Tasks and add actions (subtask) to it just by drag & dropping items.

Let’s create few Tasks.

Launch/stop Timeline SHOW

Task : Go SHOW

  • Open the Task tab and click on
  • Rename this task Go SHOW
  • Drag & drop the Timeline SHOW from the Timeline window into the Subtasks
  • Select this subtask and define the action as GrandMaster at 100% in 2s
  • Copy/paste this subtask to duplicate it and operate another subtask action
  • Select the duplicated subtask and change the action to Play at time 00:00:00:00
  • Copy/paste this subtask to duplicate it and operate another subtask action
  • Select the duplicated subtask and change the action to Timeline ON

Task : Stop SHOW

  • Select the task Go SHOW and copy/paste (ctrl C then ctrl V)
  • Rename the duplicated task to Stop SHOW
  • Select this task and select its first subtask
  • Change the subtask’s action to GrandMaster at 0% in 2s
  • Copy/paste this subtask to duplicate it and operate another subtask action
  • Select the duplicated subtask and change the action to Stop
  • Copy/paste this subtask to duplicate it and operate another subtask action
  • Select the duplicated subtask and change the action to Timeline OFF

For this Stop SHOW task we need to add a delay between the subtask GrandMaster at 0% in 2s and the Pause subtask.

  • Select the subtask Pause and set its delay to 00:00:02:00
  • This way, the subtask Pause will wait for 2 seconds before execute, leaving the time to the task GrandMaster at 0% in 2s to end properly
  • Set a green color to Start tasks and red color to Stop tasks

When you are done, you can put in a Group these Tasks into a folder named “EXHIBITION”.

Repeat these steps for the GRAPHICS Timeline.
