Choose this device to control a device on a serial port. Optionally, you will need a USB to RS232 converter to connect.

Settings:

Name User-friendly name
Enable Activate to enable the device
Run at startup Activate to run the device at Kinetic startup
Port Select the serial port. Go to the device manager to find the good one
Baudrate Select a value from the dropped down list
Data Bits Select a value from the dropped down list
Parity Select option from the dropped down list
Stop Bits Select option from the droped down list

Task action:

Enable device enable the device
Disable device disable the device
Send Command you have to enter the ASCII character string you want to send *

Task trigger:

You can trigger a task sending an ASCII string terminated with a line feed ( ‘\n’ or 0×0A in hexadecimal format).
You need to enter the same ASCII command without the line feed in the message field.
