Description

This node copies data from its input into the computer’s clipboard for it to be pasted in other panels of Kinetic.

The node has two variants : Vector 2D Spy, and Position Spy which are intended to copy specific coordinates to facilitate the setup of mapping and tracking functions.

A pop-up will appear when you drag & drop this node into your graph asking you which variant you would like to add.

This node has the on-node property of choosing either an ID or a Tag.

Example

This node is used as a handy way to copy tracked coordinates of an object such as an IR receiver and paste it to 3D coordinates to facilitate calibration.

How to use the node :

Select the ID for the item you would like to copy directly on the node.
The coordinates held in that ID are automatically copied to the clipboard at each refresh of the graph so any changes are taken into account dynamically.

*If you are using an BlackTrax camera, the Receive Position node of the device in the Graph Editor will output an Array sorted by Tag instead of ID.

The data can be directly pasted on 3D point coordinates in the 3D Mapping subtab of the Advanced subtab of the Output tab in the Editor panel for a target V-Node.

It can also be pasted in the Ground Calib. subtab of the Editor panel when a Kinemotion Group is selected.

Vector 2D Spy

Properties

This node does not have any properties in the Editor panel.

Inputs

This node does not take a 2D Vector as input but rather two floats which are packed and copied as a 2D Vector.
