X-Maps enable you to cut out portions of your outputs and warp them independently.
By using X-Maps we will be able to warp all 3 sides of the cube independently.

Before continuing however, reset the warping on the global output:

Open the Shape tab and click on Reset Warping.

If required, remove some columns and rows for better visibility.

Using X-Maps on an output

Select the Output and in the Ouput tab, Settings subtab, tick the X-Map box.

In the X-Map section of the V-Nodes panel, add 3 X-Maps (1 per cube side) and rename them accordingly.

Edit the MAP of each X-Map

Select one of the X-Maps and In the Warp panel, on the top right switch from WARP to MAP mode

Move the 4 points to the edges of the corresponding side of the cube as precisely as possible. You can zoom in the warp panel with MOUSE WHEEL to gain more precision.

Repeat these steps for the two other cube sides.

Warp each X-Map

Once the three X-Maps are ready, toggle the mode from MAP back to WARP.

For each X-Map, go to Shape subtab and set the Curve type to Keystone.

Be careful to have the X-Map selected in the V-Nodes panel and not the Output.

Note that order matters in the X-Maps list.
The bottom most X-Map in the list is displayed on top, above the others, and the top most X-Map in the list is displayed under all the others.

Also note that it is recommended to configure your X-Maps in Keystone mode instead of Curve mode.
This way the pixels spread more linearly when the X-Map is warped.

For each X-Map, move the control points to fit the projection on the shape.

Repeat the process until all three X-Maps cover their respective faces on the cube shape.

Don’t forget to disable all the Solo modes.

Note that the result is far better and warping process a lot easier than with the previous method of simply warping the entire output.
