Introduction
The following tutorials guide you in discovering and efficiently using Kinetic Designer and are designed to develop the operator’s autonomy.
As the tutorials unfold the instructions will become more generic and will go into less details on the how-to in the interface, when the manipulations have already been covered in a previous tutorials.
If you are new to Kinetic Designer, the tutorials are best followed in order.
Equipment
In order to follow the exercises, you will require the following equipment:
- Access to a Kinetic Designer & VNode servers or 1x Modulo Kinetic Designer 2D License + Modulo Pi key
- Note that with the 2D license some parts of the Architectural video mapping tutorial that require access to the 3D scene will not be available.
- 1 x Pico video-projector with a resolution of 1920×1080 (Reference 1 | Reference 2)
- 1 x Pico video-projector support (we recommend a very stable one like this reference with a Ball Head Mount Rotule such as this reference)
- 1 x mapping box (These low-cost boxes work well)
- 1 x Modulo Pi Learning kit available on our eShop
Each tutorial has its Media Kit which can be downloaded from the tutorial’s introduction page.
