This section provides some guidelines to help troubleshoot the most common issues you may encounter when using Kinetic Designer.

Playback

V-Node playback is not in sync with Designer

This is most probably caused by a problem with the network configuration.

If your Designer has both of its network interfaces active, locate the one that is currently in use for driving V-Nodes in the top menu Edit > Preferences > Network

In Windows Designer, disable the network interface that is not used to drive the V-Node.
If you are using additional network interfaces via adapters, disable them as well.

Check that these steps correctly solve the playback issue and that the V-Node is now properly in sync with the Designer.

If you require the use of other network interfaces to stream NDI or Artnet/DMX, take care that the network interfaces use separate IP Ranges than the one in use for the V-Nodes (e.g. 192.168.0.xxx for V-Node and 192.168.1.xxx for the other interface) and ensure that your subnet masks are properly set to correctly configure each interface (e.g. 255.255.255.0 in our example).
